- דַּיָּהf. (b. h.; v. דָּאָה) Dayyah name of several unclean birds. Ḥull63a ḥăsidah (Lev. 11:19) זו ד׳ לבנה is the white dayyah (stork), anaphah (ib.) זו ד׳ דגזנית the irascible dayyah; v. דַּיְּיתָא.
